Like everything about the Cortisen Hotel, the culinary experience is anything but just plain traditional – Chef Christian Eisl has taken hearty regional dishes from Grandmother’s times and given them a subtle, but importantly, brush with modernity – the result is familiar flavours injected with a touch of lightness and zest.

International favourites make headlines too namely those classic dishes that capture the holiday mood. Falstaff-Gourmet Guide 2016 awarded the Restaurant Cortisen with 89 points and 2 Spoons – among the best in Salzkammergut.

Being guest at the Cortisen, you may choose between our exquisite half board arrangement for the special rate of Euro 32,- per person or our a-la-carte menu.
